Here is Pat Lu’s report lodged on 25 January 2010 regarding the  impersonators on Facebook posting seditious remarks in her name and falsely incriminating DAP which I blogged about earlier.

POLICE REPORT – 25 January 2010

My Name according to IC: Patricia Lu Pitt Chin (known as Pat Lu on Facebook)
NRIC:
Address:

My friend Steven Seow and I are the Admins of the Facebook Group “We support the use of the name Allah by all Malaysians” founded on 6 January 2010 at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=248123628088

Our Facebook profiles are as follow:
Pat Lu – http://www.facebook.com/patlu
Steven Seow Vetrivel – http://www.facebook.com/stevenskh

Since 20 January 2010, there are cyber-troopers, who are against non-Muslims using the word “Allah”, at our group impersonating me.
This is a form of cyber phishing. It can cause grave damage to credibility. Its a crime in Malaysia. And it can lead towards cyber terrorism.

The IMPOSTORS using our names and profile pictures are as follows:

Screenshots of the impostors are hosted at my Facebook photo album at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=141956&id=537691266&l=b36e4e8839

We certainly did not join the following groups:

  1. MENENTANG PENGGUNAAN NAMA ALLAH OLEH GOLONGAN BUKAN ISLAM
    http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=227724322514
  2. MENENTANG PENGGUNAAN ISU ALLAH UNTUK TUJUAN POLEMIK ATAU POLITIK

Impostor Steven Seow
resurfaced to implicate DAP on Sunday, 24 Jan 2010 at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=235811509099. Attached is the evidence. None of the Admins are members of DAP.

My concern is the impersonator might make some seditious comments in whatever group he joins and get me into trouble. For all I know, he is waiting for his time to strike, print screen, and lodge a police report. As I see it, his intention could very well be to make it more difficult for the church to fight their case.
The fact that they are impersonators is already very wrong from a moral and legal standpoint. While the impersonators may behave, knowing that the administrators are watching, they can strike any minute when I or the other admins are not monitoring. All they need is to post some seditious remarks using my name and profile picture, print screen, and immediately delete their posts.

They can post it in the MENENTANG PENGGUNAAN NAMA ALLAH OLEH GOLONGAN BUKAN ISLAM group to show that the admins of our group are up to some mischief (2) they can lodge a police report just to haul me in for some fact finding, and some intimidation (3) they can turn it into a news story to mislead other people about our intentions. They will call it “hidden agenda.” All our good intentions will then be misconstrued by people as having hidden agenda.

Teresa, you can be assured that those who follow the path of the PR, especially that of the DAP, will know what’s true and what’s not!
They are also quite aware of which party is behind all these nonsense!
When the next GE rolls around, these blackguards will pay the price!
