As far as i am concerned, the time has come for us in Malaysia to shed the shadow of racism once and for all. The time has come to prepare a better future for our children and their children thereafter. I am basically fed up of this lie because good and bad people exist everywhere. Therefore, in GE13 my entire family will be voting PR irrespective of party. I want to see the end of the racist parties of BN. REFORMASI.

Yes, I agree with Teresa that it’s comforting to have PAS leaders like Khalid, Nizar and a few others. But PR still have lots of problems especially with people like that Kulim MP. PR needs people with good creditbility for it to govern smoothly. I was reminded that 308 happened partly also because voters oppose umno/bn and not because they support PR. So Sassy please remind your PR colleagues on this

Well said but it is yet to be seen if such moderates are indeed the true face of PAS. We need to also remember the likes of Dr.Hassan and what is being done by PAS to aleviate the concerns of PR supporters over his line of actions. In any case, it is not the party that matters but we really do need more of the Shah Alam MP people. With people like Samad, Malaysia may yet have hope for the future.

As long as the moderates are still in the main stream of the party be it PAS, DAP or PKR, Pakatan would win and continue to win people’s support. The problem with UMNO-BN is they let the right wing extremists take over the party. As for me I will continue to support Pakatan until they take over the Federal Government.

DAP should discuss honestly merging with PAS for the country’s sake to prove PAS is for all and DAP is non-racial.When that happens,there will not be anymore racial agenda to capitalise by any political parties ,forever.Malaysia will be great again and our children will be spared all the nonsense we are having now.

Since young I have always considered UMNO to be extremist and now they openly show their extremism with impunity. Anytime I’ll vote PAS instead of BN(UMNO).

All religions have beliefs that reflect their faith. Catholics do not allow non Christians to take Holy Communion and Islam does not allow Muslims to consume alcohol. Both have a right to excercise their beliefs, both do not intefere in the beliefs of the other.

UMNO is not a religion, neither is PAS but PAS appears to be at least more consistent in practicing their religious background than UMNO. In fact, I should not even compare PAS to UMNO when it comes to the following of the Muslim faith.

I will more faith in PAS than UMNO anytime, handsdown.

I had voted for Pas at my hometown when I first qualified as a voter about early 1990s. I told many of my freinds that I vote for Pas, I am Chinese voted for Pas in a constituency of choice between PAS or BN. Of course, many of my Chinese freinds disagree with my vote and even laugh at me. But I did explained why Pas not a feared choice compared to BN. Hardly people will see Pas as better alternative to Umno racist.
After 308 political tsunami, many non-Muslim struck with surprise when PAS leaders prove to be more acceptable than Umno BN when come into power. This is good sign to all Malaysians. We must stand united in the next election. Pakatan Rakyat will be there in Putrajaya.

I met YB Khalid. Fine man. A statesman and a wonderful advertisement for Islam.

I also admire the MP for Kuala Selangor too. Dr. Dzulkifri…I apologise for not remembering his full name. Heard him speak in a DAP talk on scholarship.

These 2 fellows are really progressive, intelligent and able to articulate themselves well.
