Teresa Kok was taken away on Friday [12/9/08]. Two self- proclaimed Muslim Groups were at the Sentul Police Station making report against Teresa on Sunday [14/9/08]morning around 11am.

At the scene, by the road side, some gangster-looking youngsters with yellow head-band were holding some banners accusing Teresa of ” menghina Islam.”

I stopped my car and asked one of them what was it all about.

Me: Dik, apa dah jadi?
He: Ada Orang menghina Islam.
Me: Siapa?
He: Tak tahu! (The banner he was holding reads: Teresa Kok Menghina Islam)
Me: Lalu you marah siapa?
He: Tak marah siapa, cari makan saja!
Me: Tapi Teresa KOK sudah ditangkap ISA.
He: Siapa Teresa KOK?
Me: ……….

Welcome home. Everybody knows that justice has not been served, everybody. Even BN party members stand by you, even your “opponents” have publicly stated that “you are not anti-islam, anti-malay, anti-anything”. The Mufti of Perlis stood by you. You are respected and loved by many many people. Nobody I know seems to understand why you were arrested – ok, nobody desereves ISA, but RPK knows what he was doing and expected it, virtually begged for it, thus everybody knows why he is in prison, despite it being wrong. But you? They have no answers.

Keep up the good work, keep helping the poor and innocent victims of society, be their voice, keep standing by your principles and doing right by the people, and the people WILL stand with you again, and again, and again.
You are very lucky ma’am, even if you may not feel like it now, because now you know that you are loved, respected and cherished. Not many people in the world get the opportunity to discover that. It just pains me that such a beautiful revelation would have to come from such hardships, but nothing in life that was worth having ever came for free.

Have a nice long bath and a good sleep. You earned it, cherish this moment and let it strengthen you. Do not get bitter, do not get sad. Take all the wisdom and strength that you can from this episode, look the people that fight you in the eye and give them that sincere winning smile. Bitterness and revenge are poison in the mind, they make you feel strong but only destroy what is beautiful and good.

Continue to fight for justice in this country, I am very sure your experience under ISA arrest will only work for good – make you a better leader even. All of us Malaysians were concerned about you.

Also, you are such a gracious lady – to extend your thanks to all the leaders, including those from MCA and BN. Well, some of them expressed regret about your predicament, but better than keeping quiet in front of media.

However, whatever help they have so “generously” extended were minimal. May God judge their conscience some day.

Just stay away from Liow Tiong Lai – the hypocrite who did all he could for the reporter but refused to say anything for your release, or that of RPK. He spoke as if you were some alien undeserving of any support from MCA, as if you were irrelevant to us Malaysians. Liow Tiong Lai is a shameful man unfit to be a leader, let alone leader of the Chinese. HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM…

Just I have been reading about Joseph – he too was falsely accused and put in jail. Many biblical heroes had gone through the same. God must have a purpose for this. Someday you will look back and say you were glad you went through jail which will spur you to greater heights!

Rest well too, pamper yourself with some massage and facial – and hope to see you soon! You will always have my support and those of many other Malaysians- regardless of race, religion!
