http://teresakok.com/2008/09/10/umno-selangor-memutar-belitkan-isu-aza n-di-puchong/

Sembang punya sembang, tiba-tiba beliau menyentuh mengenai soal suraunya.

Akhir kalam, semoga Allah menyelamatkan kita semua. Amin.

YB, as I told you this UMNO desperado will never give up. I agree that GOD will punish these UMNO goons sooner or later. So either ‘just make dunno’ and keep up the good job or let sue them. This nation does not belong to them alone. As a Malay and a Muslim, I am disgusted with these group of UMNO goons which try to twist everything and even lie during the month of Ramadhan. Stay cool and calm YB, that Toyo fella if you look at face, not only you but many others hate him so much and I think I am lucky that I have never encountered this moron. Sad, sad UMNO -disgusted!

Congrats YB Theresa… for yr guts! we need more MP like u!…

Well… it is very shameful to have such human in this world.

Kepada Saudara Zaini and the gang, bertaubatlah sebelum terlambat. Apa guna kalau sembahyang 5 kali sehari? dan tiap hari Jumaat pergi ke masjid sembahyang? tetapi mempunyai minda, hasrat dengki and mengkhianati insan yg lain?.

Now if you are at jalan yg benar! God will let them pay the price for their actions..

In Buddihsm is law of karma… yr action will cause the consequence…

I as human support u (YB Theresa) and the team as long u guys are doing the good cause for rakyat.

I am very very happy to know that Tunku Abdul Aziz is now joining DAP, He earns my respect and I salute him. He is the kind of human that I look upon so does Mother Theresa.

    Salam sejahtera YB,

Shah alam and Puchong is a different place, DO WE HAVE A STUPID YB HERE?

That Utusan article never mention your name? Makan cili rasa pedas ke? Rasa kami pon patut buat laporan polis. Buat ape nak tuko papan tanda ade tulisan jawi kan membazir tuh? Dahlah tuh provoke perkauman plak.

  10. on 11 Sep 2008 at 15: 06.41 richie

Eh kawan, nak debat biar fair skit boleh tak?

Dan tentang papan tanda tu, tolong check your facts. Tulisan Jawi tu cuma pakai sticker, kalau DBKL tak pecat pun, tak sampai tiga bulan kan tanggal – itulah kualiti benda baru yang menggantikan benda lama. Jgn lah nak borak2kan isu papan tanda ini. Isunya kenapa UMNO & Toyol putarbelit dan melakukan fitnah terutamanya semasa musim berpuasa ni

    Kucau,
I agree with you regarding Shah Alam vs Puchong.
However, I feel sorry for your lack of critical analysis when you mentioned that “The Utusan article never mention your name?”
FYI, there is only one female exco from DAP in PR Selangor government..

Wow… this topic is getting heat up lah

semua umat manusia.. sabar.. sabar.. jangan kita sebagai umat manusia berfikiran sempit macam setengah golongan manusia yg sudah dijangkiti virus ego, pentingkan diri sendiri, benci membenci dan tamak haloba. Cukup dah… jangan tambah lagi golongan yg berjangkit ini.

Kucau: I tahu kita semua nak yg terbaik untuk golongan kita sendiri. Tetapi apakan daya, Allah juga mengkurniakan berbagai bangsa (manusia) to dunia ini. Mengapa kita nak lawan lebih baik kita bersifat rasional seperti kata saudara Richie. Think rasionally.Saya bukan nak challenge u, tapi cuma nak kata sepatah dua iaitu cubalah menganalisa kes ini dulu, fikir dulu sebelum buat any conclusion.

Janganlah kita dijangkiti virus yg I kata tadi merebak berleluasa. Di sini saya nak ucapkan kepada Kucau: May you and yr loved ones in good health, happiness and prosperity.
Selamat Berbuka Puasa kepada semua muslimin and muslimat

    hi aurora,

my bad then . im sorry to the YB BUT still why question the JAWI when its clearly one of the thing which is sensitive to the Malay heart. Since independence even some of Chinese businessman put Jawi words on their premises and WHY sudden rejection of JAWI words. A racist heart YB? For your info , im not an UMNO member and probably i will never be, but if u and your friends are keeping this kind of issue we will defend our right even with our blood. Yes even if u dont mention anything about Azan but I still remember your good fren Tan sen giau? I dont even remember his name but the issue brought up by him. Consider this is a last warning from a young professional Malay. There are thousands of us out there. We have been quiet all this while but doesnt mean we will remain so forever.Remember , there are a lot of obedient Hang Tuah among us , BUT once the Hand Jebat spirit are reincarnated by ppl like u the effect will be disastrous. Remember AMUK is only related to the Malays.

  15. on 11 Sep 2008 at 22: 25.15 Jeles

Actually for the azan case, if the writer is aware its a sensitive issue, why then write base on hearsay and not check the facts first.

For the road sign, why the status quo wasn’t kept, that is just to use Bahasa Melayu. Why add the Jawi when previously there isn’t one.

With the new one, with all respect the Bahasa Melayu have the largest font already and it denotes the respect for the Malay people and their language already. Furthermore those that can read Bahasa surely will not read the Jawi version.

But if they prefer, I suggest the Jawi is place along but I still prefer to just put Bahasa Melayu as previously done.

  16. on 11 Sep 2008 at 22: 29.42 OrangUtan

In their desperate attempt (maybe the last one hopefully) to cling on to their political prowess, it looks like their last trick in the bag was to stir up racial & religious issues. It’ll appear juicier to this crooks if they can mixes the two together. I for one believe there will be more of such sensitive issues systematically cropping up targeting at opposing MP’s and in particular of a different race or religion. Ever wonder who is the director behind the movie set?. Each chosen actor will take on a role, given a different assignment & will take center stage at a specific time. Create & instill hatred and wait for all hell to breaks losses. A truly devilish mind of ‘Even if we lost it, those who come next will gain nothing but chaos’. Lets just hope we don’t fall for the devils trap and all be bless with an opportunity to live & share in this young country of ours we call home. Don’t let the politician divide & rule us, we together shall decide who does a better job & deserves the position.

Kepada Teresa Kok, jangan ambik tindakan kepada Utusam Melayu and Zaini Hassan. Mereka tidak bersalah. Yang bersalah adalah kamu Teresa Kok. Kamu banyak main api. Jangan main-main ooo.. Kalau betul pun kamu tak pergi surau tu minta dihentikan azan, kamu dah buat banyak benda yang menyakiti hati orang Melayu terutamanya Islam.

  18. on 11 Sep 2008 at 23: 43.04 mat_kilau

    mr richie,

Kenapa DAP tak promosi Bahasa Malaysia? suruh rakyat bertutur bahasa selalu?

Tanpa prosedure tu, tiadalah agama tu.

Sekarang ni, nampak semakin besar perbezaan pemahaman agama. Kami tidak akan berdiam diri, tak kira sapa yag mula, umno ke, pkr ke, pas for sure not, dap ke…kami akan tuntut hak kami sebagai mana kamu tuntut hak kamu.

  19. on 12 Sep 2008 at 00: 36.35 kucau

KAT BLOG DIER SENDIRI:

    http://teresakok.com/2008/02/14/papan-tanda-jalan-yang-mengandungi-per kataan-jawi-di-kuala-lumpur/

Sekarang korang pikir sendiri. Muhibbah sign? Why dont she champions a stop of vernakular school to start the muhibbah rather than destroying JAWI sign. Why dont she starts classes for chinese/indian who cant even speak or write proper Bahasa Malaysia? Why doesnt she stop discrimination of Malay in SOME of chinese companies? Is it because of “racist” deep inside her heart. You judge!

    To orangutan,

Remember, UMNO is not Malay and Malay is not UMNO. And there are thousands of NON – UMNO Malay professional who shut their mouth b4. We will do whatever it takes for our survival. Dont call me racist when somebody else start the flame.

Dear Mat Kilau / kacau and others,

Satu lagi contoh, iaitu Dubai.

Tetapi, kita hidup dalam dunia global, bahasa lain-lain, seperti Bahasa Cina and Inglis, amatlah penting. Mat_Kilau, janganlah berpandangan sempit. Malaysia ini untuk semua!

A couple of months back, i was a loyal PR supporter, convince with their desire to weed out corruption, and promise a new dawn for Malaysia. I’m a Malay Professional just sick and tired of UMNO’s dirty act.

But after a couple of issues recently, i am dissapointed, frustrated with PR support and stands, as lots of issues try to touch sensitive issues about Islam and Malays:

    – 2 Bar council forums on Social Contact and
Conversion to Islam which clearly being
    supported by PR members
    – Azan Issues which related to YB Teresa
    – Jawi Signboard e-mail picture, which widely
circulated in the internet, and your picture and
Tan Kok Wai pointing at Jawi phrases and
gestures that it to bee REMOVED!!!

Remember YB, Muslims and Malay WILL UNITE, whether their UMNO, PKR or PAS when senstive issues is raised by other race and relegion. Look at what happen in second Bar Council Forum where, PAS, PKR and UMNO members were there to protest

I’m am professional Malay and they are many thousands out there which analyse this current issues seriously and will disseminante the info to others who dont really understand what happen

Sorry to say, now i have decided not to support PR anymore

su_masjid, if u r for real, please stand out and clarify the matter, probably via a press conference and what not. Lies like this will only make more Muslims who read mainstream papers misunderstood and angry by something DAP has not done.
As for some of the Malay friends who left comments here, saying they have had enough of YB raising the Jawi issue, no offence, but how many Malaysians, Malays included, know how to read Jawi? Of course not all Malaysians know how to read Chinese and Tamil as well. As such, we either use BM only, or put Jawi/Chinese/Tamil on the road sign. The local authority has its own intention in putting Jawi and BM only in a largely non-Muslim area. It’s not too hard to see it, ain’t it?

    Hello Teresa,

Please open up your mind and don’t let hate consumed you into going to the dark side.
Org2 seperti andalah yg menyebabkan
    jurang kebencian sesama Malaysian.

    Kucau,
    I basically agree with you.
I have a lot of chinese and indian friends even my best friend is Indian..and I can get along well with them.
Takde masalah langsung..tetapi seperti saya katakan tadi org yg mcm awaklah yg suka mengapi-apikan perkauman.

If these people can’t accept the Social Contract and the Malay Priveleges then they better do not stay in this country and call them themselves as ‘Malaysian’. Sham on U

  27. on 12 Sep 2008 at 13: 11.16 lee wee tak

judging from all the above, Malaysians are generally not tolerant of each other’s language and custome.

the mere sight of each other’s language, cultures and what not immediately arouse irrational fear that their own culture is being threatened.

we were not like that a few decades ago.

all Malaysians should be angry about Somalians pirates holding Malaysian sailors as hostage. No one, No one raise a hue and cry, That threat is more real

Malaysians show less fury and anger against these pirates, rapists, murders, robbers, polluter, corrupters compared to their fellow Malaysians who just happen to speak different language and have different cultural background.

This is sad and stupid. All have been brain-washed and still don’t get it.

YB Theresa and Lee Wee Tak

As I said b4 .. it is very sad that M’sian is moving backward.

Lee : I agree with yr statement

FYI, all is bcos of human ego… HUMAN manipulates cultural differences and religions to satisfy their own ego and filled up their own emotions with negativities in their mind, body and soul.

For those who want to clarify their ego status, a book I can recommend is entitled “A NEW EARTH”
    written by Eckhart Tolle.

    MAY GOD BLESS MALAYSIA

the only way we can move is forward. Perhaps the new government must have the moral courage to re-educate the population.

open-minded and fair minded people from all religion and race form a panel called “inter-faith and inter-race council” to highlight the common ground, rather than difference of Malaysians.

  30. on 12 Sep 2008 at 14: 56.15 lee wee tak

however, can these brain-washed people capable of looking beyond their coconut shells? it is hard to tell particularly if there are recalcitrants and provocations from vested interests but we have no choice

    “dulu PKR
A couple of months back, i was a loyal PR supporter, convince with their desire to weed out corruption, and promise a new dawn for Malaysia. I’m a Malay Professional just sick and tired of UMNO’s dirty act.

    ……………

    – 2 Bar council forums on Social Contact and
Conversion to Islam which clearly being
    supported by PR members
    – Azan Issues which related to YB Teresa
    – Jawi Signboard e-mail picture, which widely
circulated in the internet, and your picture and
Tan Kok Wai pointing at Jawi phrases and
gestures that it to bee REMOVED!!! ”

    —————————————————————————————————

    – the forum is suppose to be a civilised way to discuss and find solutions to problems and not meant to harm Islam. In fact, there were muslims participants.

    – if you want to defend your religion which you are definitely entitle to do so, look at what is the event? it is a discussion so go there and debate, not to threaten people physically

    – just because of some road sign and malicious reporting by bias MSM so you are running back to the previous administraion now being exposed with a lot of improper practices, many would say, corruption and wastage of tax payers’ money at the expense of Malaysians.

    – you claim yourself to be a Malay professional so congratulations on your achievement so I urge you to see all sides of an issue before deciding what’s best for you and your family. If you think you prefer the previous administration with their shortcomings (too long for me to list) well it is your right.

    – you are actually contradicting yourself. You supported PKR because you want to end corruption so are you willing to live with corruption again over these superficial issues?

    – so what’s the issue with few chinese words on a signboard? we have that in our airports, coffee shops, display posters, banners on mega sales, advertisements…don’t tell me that would offend you?

finally, Alliance and BN had > 50 years, can’t you give PR even 5 years?

  32. on 12 Sep 2008 at 15: 45.32 B_Human

Yes… Lee Wee Tak.. really really true but it will take time.

I am so sorry to use this phrase
Many M’sians are like “katak dibawah tempurung” that is where the coconut shells can be found… ha ha ha….(just joking)

God Bless Malaysia and Raja Petra, fyi Raja Petra is detained under ISA again today for the 2nd time!… what a great nation we have…. moving backward. Thank you to Che Det who started ISA for his own interest. Hanya Allah yg Maha Esa mengetahui his real intention!

  33. on 12 Sep 2008 at 16: 15.21 lee wee tak

I agree with you. Having worked and lived in Hong Kong and Singapore, I am so sad because Malaysia have the resource to be even a better place to live in.

My prayers and best wishes with the Raja and his family.

Some post merdeka and Ramadan this year, sigh.

  34. on 12 Sep 2008 at 17: 59.43 mat_kilau

B_Human, myleeji and lee wee tak, don’t think others are like ‘katak bawah tempurung’. see deeper why most malay are emotional. It is not because Ahmad Ismail. Teresa Kok is just an example why most malay starts believing, yes it’s true, she do it, by just looking at the picture of Teresa Kok (road sign jawi issue la).

Who is stupid? u wan’t to call all malay stupid?. Who is stupid?, umno or teresa?…umno looking for issue, teresa create the issue. So, why blame umno, blame teresa la, supaya hati2 dgn issue sensitive.

same as hindu temple demolished, why hindu angry? who is provoke? the fact is, that temple build without permit, the land owned by private.

Before PRU, yes everything blame umno. now you are in charge, you should be aware.

And 1 more, don’t compare us with china, hong kong, america, especially british (the trouble maker of malaysia and palestine). Malaysia is very2 complex. wan’t to talk about it, long long story, so better start to read history. History creates us.

    Dear Kucau,

No wonder your name is Kucau, why dun you call yourself KACAU!!! Your comments are full of hatred and discrimination. To all of you who’d read this KACAU fella’s comments, do you really believe this piece of crap is a non-UMNO executive class???!!!!

Yes, I fully agree there were thousands of non-UMNO, educated and executive like Malays out there, but never on earth you are one of them.

You are smart enough to DISGUISE AS A NON-UMNO EXEC MALAY, but do you really think we are 3 year olds whom you can fool!!! These exec class Malays are not quiet, they are civilised! They are rational enough to know what’s right and wrong. They know how to judge who’s really the crooks and liars and hatred instilling craps like you.

Kucau aka KACAU, please come out from your disguise. You are just one of the crooks and liars whom uses the word “BLOODSHED” in the name of religion and harmony. Malaysia don’t need citizens like you. The world doesn’t need people like you. Perhaps the only place for you will be Zimbabwe, because you think like Mugabe.

Do you really want Malaysia to be in chaos?!!! Do you really want us to hurt each other??!!! Do you really think Jawi signs, Chinese signs, Tamil signs, English signs, whatever signs are worth us fighting each other for!!! If you really are an exec class Malay, it’s really sad how education has become in the world today. How could an educated person and civilised person think like you do.

Kucau, please stop doing this. I must agree that my comments on you are both crude and harsh, but really, lets keep Malaysia as a multi racial, peaceful and harmony country. No one has ever question anyone’s religion, or practices. I do not believe that YB Theresa would ever do anything like that, because deep inside our hearts, we really really respects Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhs, or any religion in Malaysia. We are brothers and sisters in the name of God. God made us different in colors, but yet, we remain as HUMAN BEINGS. There is really no difference in us. We breath the same air, eat to survive, falls sick, and eventually we die. WE ARE NOT DIFFERENT.

Kucau, read more, keep an open mind. Think rationally. Stop making these hatred accusations. May Allah bless you, us all and Malaysia.

    Dear Mat_Kilau

First of all, I would like to wish all the good health and happiness. Whatever yr pendapat dan point of view I still respect u bcos u and I are human too and pls refer to statement by Saudara Carpe Diem:
“We are brothers and sisters in the name of God. God made us different in colors, but yet, we remain as HUMAN BEINGS. There is really no difference in us. We breath the same air, eat to survive, falls sick, and eventually we die. WE ARE NOT DIFFERENT”.

As I mentioned before about EGO…if you and the others wanna to be the victim of yr ego… by all means bcos that is yr choice. I also respect you as human being.

Last but not least.. I wish you all the best in yr endeavours.

I’m glad this is not true regarding the azan..but regarding the road signboard that u brought up..u really pissed me of..

why u really interested in this tiny matter? I think there are A LOT other and IMPORTANT issues such as corruption, poverty etc…but why this issue u interested the most?

  38. on 12 Sep 2008 at 22: 37.57 dulu PKR

    Dear Lee Wee Tat,

Thank You for your comment but no thank you

since when that we are going to threaten people physically? your shallow minded pre empy assumption made me really sick!! i am against those who use to threaten people physically whether they are malay, chinese, or Indian!!

I am not based my judgement based on MSM but from blogs as well as other form of information, just to inform you, the e-mail has been circulating on what YB Teresa and DAP leaders with true picture on what they have been doing and it really hurts Muslims

Instead of focusing issues of fighting corruptions and good governace, YB Teresa and other DAP leaders just simply riled up the fellow muslims by tried to act something that annoyed muslim

ya..Mr. Lee, you said its just some stupid jawi road sign and what really to shout about? what you have been feeling when Ahmad Ismail tell Chinese that they are ‘pendatang’? its hurt right? so, do you really care about other people sensitivities.. i really condemned what Ahmad Ismail has been done and he should have been punished more than merely 3 years suspension.

Who are against chinese word in the signboard Mr. Lee? in fact we are welcome it!!! but why this MP try to get rid of jawi

Its your own personal opinion Mr. Lee this is not superficial issues, ,but to others, esp. Muslims its a big issues that goes beyond your understanding

BN has learn a lesson in 8th of March GE – and get what they deserved,

untill all these issues started to come out, i am convinced that PR is the better choice…

    but sadly now no more

    just like mat kilau said

Teresa Kok is just a DAP version of UMNO’s Ahmad Ismail, an example why most malay starts believing, yes it’s true, she is anti muslim, anti malays.

  39. on 12 Sep 2008 at 22: 40.11 lee wee tak

    Mat Kilau,

why can’t we try to raise our standard by comparing ourselves with country that is better than us.

is there a saying that Nabi once said to gain more knowledge it is worthwhile to travel all the way to China? I think there is such a saying.

it is time for all Malaysians to broaden our horizon, not to retreat into shell of isolation.

please read my comments, no where my wrote about frogs and coconut shells and the situation that we Malaysians do not worry about our sailors in Somolia but show more emotions within ourselves is stupid.

And Teresa looking for issue? I disagreed. She is a WR and the way I see it, rakyat complained so she got Jawi to come in and resolve the issue. That’s all.

  40. on 13 Sep 2008 at 00: 14.36 hopeless

Selangor Senior Exco Member and DAP MP for Seputeh Teresa Kok has been arrested by the police at 11.18 p.m. when returning to her condominium in her constituency
    from http://blog.limkitsiang.com/2008/09/12/teresa-kok-arrested/#comments

Could this be another attempt to create fear ..
    That is just great..

    Will support PR even more..

    Mengapa susah sangat nak bertoleransi..

    batmac78,
    ISLAM FOR ALL
    justice for all

that’s it, umno is acting by using ISA. As i said, umno is looking for issue.

We condemned the ISA, it’s not fair, cruel. Besides critics on Teresa, let us pray that she will ok, and the gomen will release her.

  43. on 13 Sep 2008 at 03: 49.15 ID Glide

This article published in Utusan Malaysia is indeed seditious and is backed up with one thing – RUMOURS (and IMAGINATION and FANTASY of the writer)!

You can’t just quote a source with no name, a YB in Pakatan Rakyat? what the hell, what kinda tabloid are you writing for? What kinda journalist is this? He should be detained under ISA if anything, more so than the Sin Chew reporter – who had people listening to the ceramah, including Najib, whom had to apologise on Ahmad’s behalf.

And now Teresa being detained under ISA is just ridiculous. But fret not, the truth will prevail.

Also on the signboard issue – please read the full story before jumping the gun. Irresponsible betul!
