I don't think hiring malay workers will deter Chinese from voting Theresa. I think we China-pek vote for the candidates and not the worker for the candidate

Are there any Malay willing to come forward and voluteer? YB, how many Malays came to you to ask for a job? YB, do you want to start a recruitment drive to get some Malay assistants. I agree this is a good move.

The last paragraph show how racist I am. Sigh, the society we have......we ar all MALAYSIANS!!!!!!

I agree with you Khairol, so would you want to volunteer to join Ms Kok?

I agree also with you that the world is not fair. Petronas hire very little non-Malays and likewise the government service.

Our country is polarised. Unless we do something about it, there is no point bitching about this.

Chinese should employ Malays and vice versa. Until someone start moving, talk is talk is talk is talk is talk is talk....

Also another thing. The world is never going to be fair. It is up to us to fight our way out.

Rocky said something like it is not about how often you get knocked down but it is how you get up and fight again.

We Malaysians are a lucky lot. We get protected all the time. Price control, quota system, NEP, bagi chance-lah...go to live in Hong Kong. There people learn to live with no natural resources except human capital only. There people learnt not to complain and work hard all the time and not blaming other people/god/luck/neighbour's dog whatever.

We Malaysians have to adopt this attitude because our competitors from Vietnam, Singapore, China etc do not have this sort of baggage and our exchange rate is not getting anymore favourable.

Khairol,
I hope you will get a better job

Hello khairoaz,

Lets look at it this way. If YB Teresa wanted to hire Malay staffs, would you willing to join her team? Or could you get some one to join her? Part time or full time?

This could be one of the reasons, how many Malay would want to work in DAP office? Don't forget it is also going to be very hectic and tough, just look at Teresa picture above.

Dear Friend,

I really appreciated any comment and motivate my self BUT i really dissapointed when i saw Ms Teresa's team' picture. You know why ?? Because non of them is Malay and only one Indian.

So I hope Ms Teresa can hire malay staff in her team. I was working in Chinese 's company where is only me working . So no problem to me. But IF MS TERESA HIRE MALAY STAFF , i think her IMAGE or REPUTATION going be high and after that Malay also can felt closer to DAP.

But unless Ms Teresa also under pressure from Chinese's vote forso that she cannot HIRING malay's staff.

SO Now I know WORLD IS ALWAYS NOT FAIR.

thank you

Hi Teresa,

Khairol's suggestion of hiring malay staffs in your office is really a good idea. Although it might have skipped your mind, I'm sure you wouldn't think twice about having some. How sweet the phrase rings when we can 'walk the talk'.

More work for you? It's a cinch for you my good lady. You are well respected because you work very close to the ground, and that means us. Carry on and make us proud Teresa.

Dear Khairol,

I used to work in a company where the clerks are malays and the chinese occupy the higher management position. Honestly, I have to agree, they could have easily promote these clerks to take up higher position to fill vacancies but instead they always hire people from outside.

I felt it is highly unfair too.

What I do know is whenever the management meet though (where I am somehow in the meeting), I noticed they were very concerned about these clerks and even planned different jobs for them in order to equip them. I felt somehow they were trying to justify to their bosses for future promotions.

Why they were often bypassed is something I am not sure yet I strongly felt is unfair.

But to the clerks who lamented to me about lack of recognition, I admit there are more tangible actions management could do in recognition of their good performance. My personal advice to them then was to leave and find a better job since they are quite skilled.

Like what lee wee tak, look at the bright side, learn what you could, equip yourself and make yourself more marketable. Trust me, you can go to any cina companies and when they notice your good skills, they will hire you because they want good help.

Dear Teresa,

Your capabilities are well appreciated and known by your constituency. I am sure you are a good leader.

As a Senior Exco member in the state assembly though, it is time for you to project your multiracial image. I am sure you work effectively for results, but don't do a MCA i.e. working quietly. effectively. for results.

As for those who blew things out of proportion, take your time and explain to your detractors in rational and caring manner. The rakyat know who is the bigger person...:)

khairoaz

I am sorry for what you have to go through. One of the things Chinese company do not do well is to be inclusive, i.e. be fair to everyone regardless of race, religion and sex.

It is impossible for YB Kok to do much. The policies from the BN government actually cultivate more racism than anything else.

My advice is to be as good as you are and get better. Be a good employee and take your experience to a company that respect people because it is what you deserve.

At the interview, look at the manager in the eyes and say," will I be discriminated?". Politely asked your co-wprkers to speak the language you understand when you are around. Learn a bit if their language to break ice and make your performance respectable.

"I believe that many Malays don’t want Malaysia to be an Islamic state, we have to recognise this fact first. "

Dear teresa,

I've to disagree with you on this. For us Muslims/Malays, we see the Islamic Law as the perfect and most progressive, comprehensive and fair law to the humankind. Probably some deviations as might be practised by some unwised terrorists.

Be it from PAS or UMNO or PKR, we will never reject Islamic State, only we will ensure that the implementation of Islamic Law shall be inaccordance tu Quran and Hadiths.

Thank you.

Dear Theresa,

There are undeveloped opportunity in Puchong for economic development. First of all because of the location that sandwich between two major "bandar" KL & PJ and a connection route to the world "KLIA".

Puchong has the opportunity as the center of intellectual property driven business. There are many consultant, SOHO and Technology business in this place, however there has not been a concerted effort to support this so call fragmented industry.

We also found that a lot of business intellectual in this vicinity, due competitive cost most have shifted from PJ, KL to Puchong hence is a viable economic opportunity waiting to be explore.

Puchong can be the center for Design & Innovation development with supporting industry in legal, design , multimedia, product development and human resource capital development.

What you may want start to think off, IP is the lowest form of capital start-up and has the potential of earning the highest return and yet it consume the lowest land-based resources hence free the precious resources for lifestyle improvement.

Althought Cyberjaya try to capture on such development but it fail because its a property project before it gain social migration to that areas.

If you want the people in Puchong & Selangor to support your economic development, loop in all those involve in this business and professional to form something concrete.

You can reach me at dan_kschang@yahoo.com

Good luck.

There are many CEOs' and MDs' helming more than one corporations simultaneously and so far I have not seen much complaints from investors as long as they are doing their jobs effectively.

As long as you are able to do your job effectively then I would not mind how many positions you holds otherwise you may have to reconsider.

Dear Teresa,

Could you please explain to us the pig farming issues in great length as you are the person who broke the story transparently. Was an agreement signed between the state government and the private bumi company where the previous BN adun is a shareholder. If yes, then is it not a case of abused of power and corruption. Hope you can explain also how this private financial initiative works and where will the 100 millions go to.
