Hi
I have always been a supporter of DAP until the last election because of negative media report but I have shifted my support back when I got real news from the internet about the BN.

Now concerning the phantom voters, by sending their supporters to the east coast to vote, they have deprived themselves of more votes in their own backyard. The next round they won't know where to send their people except to support their top leaders or they be slaughted like chicken.

Now Kui Li has asked for an EGM on May 11 for all the Umno divisions to meet. Then on May 12 they will brainstorm on how to regain and protect their special birthright to govern. The Day After....???

Teresa,
First, I want make clear that I'm not your people ( A reading from Ronnie Liu. Ronnie's Bible). I 'm Teng Chang Khim's people. I hope that Abdullah Badawi make a snap election now due to the SA and MP have not swearing yet. Let all the people make judgement whether opposition or BN will be the ruling party. This is a quite good suggestion and also Abdullah make a show-hand gamble who is the winner. But I dare say that opposition will be the loser and two third majority will be maintain by BN. And also BN will ruling party at Perak, Selangor and Penang. Only Kelantan and Kedah will rule by PAS. DAP will leave three or four MP and SA. Believe it or not.

Dear YB,

I have no problem DAP working with PAS provided that both give compromise to each other - PAS allowing non-muslims to live according to their religion and custom while DAP should not be so islamphobia.

I believe both can moderate out each other provided debates based on reason, logic, common sense and mutual respect are carried out.

Bentoh is right. If you can provide details of the fund received and used, that will give you much credibility.

As a qualified accountant, I offer my service to write up a report of your fund usage, free of charge.

Also, I suppose you are darn busy but a little update on the state government formation is much appreciated. Before GE< your blog is a hotbed of activity. DOn't let this blog goes cold. It's an interaction platform between you and the supporters.

Dear Sassy MP/Assemblywoman,

The Merdekareview had alleged the result of DAP's Selangor exco list not long ago... and I was deeply saddened by the fact that Teng was left out... how I wish it wasn't true... but Merdekareview has never failed to give correct insider story for DAP...

I'm extremely disappointed even though I'm a quite-die-hard DAP supporter...

Anyway, just to pass on another "request" here... I recall you mentioned weeks before that you practice transparency in your campaign fund...

Perhaps it is good for you to show us how much donations had you been collected, how much was spent and how much was leftover, as well as how you are going to do with the leftover money? I believe this is the real transparency you mentioned and I believe this will indeed increase your and DAP's integrity... :)

Cheers,

YB…. how to work together with PAS….???

If you understand Islamic value, a “God” fearing PAS will implement full version of Islamic laws when they are in power gradually.

It seems to me that DAP is assisting PAS to fit their agenda together slowly but needly… in the name of “the will of their god”… i.e. PAS MB in Perak… in other words DAP is part of evil transformation.

DAP is a tool to PAS… I hope YB see it clear enough.

As many other commentators here have said, if there is any truth to the Deputy MB issue, I must say the more experienced state legislator should have precedence.

Furthermore, I do believe you would make a good Shadow Minister in the federal parliament.

cheers

Teresa,
I'm your ex comrade. May be, I'm still a member because I didn't pay for the membership for more than 10 year. The reason I left DAP due to P. Patto and Lau Dak Kee faction. Remember your lost at Ipoh Barat Parlimentary seat also due to this two faction.I still cherish the party eventhough I left DAP. I sincerely hope that DAP wouldn't split any more especially at Selangor. Selangor DAP already lost two terms due to the worst leadership of Ronnie Liu. I stay at Puchong and I vote for you and Gobind Singh Deo. As Roman Catholic of me, I wish that you will be a Deputy MB. But Teng Chang Khim must be highly recommend as a Exco. Ronnie Liu must out of any administration officer. This is my wish and also the wish of the people who really support DAP. But not like Ronnie Liu said that his people, our people or my people. Once again, this is all people's wish. Regards.

DAP, PKR n PAS...Congratulations!!! A job well done! That was the easy part. Now comes the hard part, implementing the 'CHANGE'. But I am confident all of you shall be successful!

However, I am filled with concern from what I had seen from the Star Post Election Forum that you had participated.

For 3 times when you mentioned that the opposition would be the govt, you were in laughter. I do not understand the gesture! Is the opposition's victory a joke?! It is NOT! We need to show confidence, professionalism and conviction on winning so that we can continue to garner more support and not give any opportunity for BN talk us down.

And the portrayal of even the slightest concern or uncertainty needs to be stopped. We need to show full confidence in our actions and oration every single time so that we set the highest standards for others to follow. There is no room for casuality.

And finally, start being the government and not the opposition.

We may not get another chance so lets make this one count!

GO FOR IT!

No worries about pas being the MB. I've been working in Terengganu for 3 years. People (chinese) there told me the state was better when pas-ruled it. More
pubs & longer op hours! :o

The coalition should know if any of them being bias to any single race, they'll lose in the coming elections.

Now, i think the most important thing dap can do:
1. Re-open the space needed for indian temple which was closed down by UMNO - Gain indian support.
2. Offer land for chinese primary schools and throw the ball back to Fed. gov since only MOE's the authority for such schools - 1 stone killing 2 birds to gain chinese support (show chinese dap cares abt chinese education & better still if Fed. gov refuses to open the new chinese schools ^_^)
3. Offer minor projects e.g. building bridge , small community hall to kampong folks & they'll thank the state gov like hell :P

Agree with you, Choong.

Dear Teresa,
This election may be the one and only chance or you may call it an assignment people give to the coalition parties before you guys rule the country in the next election.

I think we all must admit that this vitory is contributed by all races; not all peoples that vote for DAP are originally supporters of DAP. We are able to accept the coalition between DAP-PKR-PAS, but your must prove to us that this is work.

Peoples are wacthing on you(coalition parties); especially BN. Please show us that you guys are really the 'governemnt in waiting' like what Anwar said and no longer an oppositionist. Boycott is no longer work. We chinese always said '海纳百川 有容乃大'. Why not give PAS a chance to prove that they are really changing, since DAP still holding the majority seats. We don't really care what is the skin color of the leader, the most important things is he/she work for all races.

I start to see you peoples fighting for position in the state government, I think this is not healthy, I hope all positions are choosen based on capability rather than seniority.

Finally please ask Uncle Lim and all assemblymen to attend the ceremony tomorrow. This is important.

Please don't let us down, your are our hope for the future of our country and our next generation.

Regards,
My whole family VOTED FOR CHANGE!

Please show us that you guys are really the ‘governemnt in waiting’ like what Anwar said and no longer an oppositionist. Boycott is no longer work. We chinese always said ‘海纳百川 有容乃大’. Why not give PAS a chance to prove that they are really changing, since DAP still holding the majority seats. We don’t really care what is the skin color of the leader, the most important things is he/she work for all races.

I start to see you peoples fighting for position in the state government, I think this is not healthy, I hope all positions are choosen based on capability rather than seniority.

Finally please ask Uncle Lim and all assemblymen to attend the ceremony tomorrow. This is important.

Please don’t let us down, your are our hope for the future of our country and our next generation.

Regards,
My whole family VOTED FOR CHANGE!

The DAP promised CHANGE, I voted for CHANGE… yet the same OLD politics is being played out in Perak. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get LKS to withdraw his statement on the Perak MB. We made a lot of progress on 8 March and we should not be regressing into racial politics. I am a 30-something Malaysian Chinese who thought he was voting for a new non-racial Malaysia. If DAP betrays the rakyat like this, you are no better than BN!

Dear YB Teresa,

Please support YB Teng Chang Khim for the post of Deputy MB of Selangor should a DAP state assemblyperson be appointed. With due respect to you, IMHO, YB Teng is more suitable for the post because:

1) He has vast experience and proven track record, having served as an elected representative in the state legislative assembly since 1995. No doubt you too have equally excellent track record as an MP.

2) You are still the MP for Seputeh. Bear in mind that Seputeh, as it is in the Federal Territory of KL, does not have a state assemblyperson to look after the wellbeing of the people. In addition, Malaysians by and large still look upon you to represent them in the parliament as you have been doing a really good job. YB Teng, in contrast, holds only the post of state assemblyperson and we expect him to do a good job in the administration of Selangor.

3) This is an opportunity for you to show to DAP leaders and, more importantly, the people - your true BOSSES, that you are above factional party politics. DAP is for the people, not for Ronnie Liu, not even Kit Siang and Guan Eng. You will practise what you preach - that posts should be given to those with the best credentials and merits - won't you?
