SS, agree with you.

The BN government has a immature view of democracy whereby opposition MPs are still MPs but yet I feel that they treat opposition as if they are enemies of the state. When I watch the parliment debate in UK, they refer each other as "esteemed gentleman" and they never use childish, insulting remarks. When I watch LIMITED shots in YouTube, our August House exchange is full of pasar-like exchange....and unfortunnately most of these come from BN MPs (since they do have most of the seats but it seems that DAP chaps speak with more reasons, relatively speaking).

Even KJ said his duty is to "weaken the opposition". To me that is a disservice to the nation. Rather than channelling resources to positive usage, he openly advocate for disruptive or damaging course of action.

The PM and his minders are just being childish and immature by excluding some people but not others.

Proper protocols require a certain standard of behaviours and even courtesy and they just don't understand or appreciate this. Surely all basic religious beliefs also encourage and promote this.

If you wish to leave out the opposition constituencies, then avoid passing through them and only use roads in BN areas.

It looks like there are still many who are easily offended or are narrow minded. Pity.

Theresa,

You do have some degree of spunk in what you attempt to do by raising your profile with this blog for instance. However expecting to be invited to a function where the prime minister officated and taking offence to the absence of an invitation or exclusion is not the end of the world.

Your own contituents would expect you to be more resilient, less dependent on invitation and following an agenda of your political opponent.

If you were in government it is more likely that you would have resorted to a similar practice. he represents a majority. It is his (and his advisors) discretion to exclude whoever they want including Mother Theresa.

You should continue with your proporals and your own agenda regardless of whether or not the PM is on your side. That is politics.

It may be more difficult being on the outer, but you know the old saying, "If you can't stand the heat then get out of the kitchen". This is not trivial pursuit. It is about manipulation, opportunism and producing the result you want and not the result others are necessarily going to be satisfied with. You can't please all the people all the time.

And if so offended by Islam and the Muslim ideology and wanting to preserve what you and your follwoers see as a secular state, then stop quoting Luke, Mark, Matthew or John. It is offensive and really not what politics should be made of if secular.

By the way, I think the PM is PM of the whole country, not merely of BN constituencies. By excluding Opposition MPs and constituencies, City Hall and the government is saying you all do not belong to the country. Perhaps you should all just declare independence.

I find it shocking that the PM did not deem it fit to invite you all to stay for his function. But then he is very absent-minded dont you think, not capable of thinking clearly or straight? Not as sassy as you. Ah well, he's what we got.
