Hi there Teresa, this is quite an interesting article regarding the Popes' discussion with the Islamic world. I have always wondered about the Popes' theological background (im a protestant), and upon reading the article, i was truly humbled by this wonderful man of God, whoose given gift was truly used for His glory!

While i agree very much to the open discourse and discussion between these 2 religions, i am also quite doubtful that such rationality will ever touch the common masses of ppl on the streets. The common ppl, i believe are concerned about bread and butter (esp chinese) and as such, simple virtues of self respect and civility has been long jettisoned for money. This is believe, would be the 21st century disease. Do forgive me for my fatalistic world view, but it is also this reason that i find hope and love in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Nevertheless, i do thank you for the article and btw, nice webpage!! i like the side red panel just like you are writing chinese caligraphy! Many thanks again.
